At 10 years old, Alyson Stoner is already a "Legend in Her own Time". She's been a featured dancer in numerous Missy Elliott videos, has her own t.v. show on the Disney Channel, "Mikes Super Short Show", and to top it off, starred in the motion picture "Cheaper By the Dozen" with Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Duff, and Steve Martin. We recently were invited to her home to sit down and get the scoop on this 10 year old Hip Hop superstar's exciting yet down to earth lifestyle.

Rising Moment:What was your first dance big break?
Alyson:Well, I had been dancing since I was three but when I moved to California from Ohio, I got an audition for a music video with the rapper artist Missy Elliott and I was lucky enough to make the cut and that really started it all.
RM:Who are your favorite artists?
A:I love to listen to a lot of rap music so any fast beat rapper is good and I am starting to like a little bit of punk but not the hard core yelling style (haha.)
RM: What advice would you give young dancers?
A: Keep practicing! Train as much as you can because every little bit helps and follow your dreams.
RM:What else do you like to do in your spare time when your not dancing?
A:I love to play pretty much any types of sports but one of my favorites is basketball. I also love to just hang-out with school friends and go to the movies.
